The Summer Bummer

With school coming to an end and summer is just around the corner, you must be brimming with joy, and you should! Just not quite yet though. I get it, you're excited, the sun is out and the birds are singing, but so are your finals. School is the most important thing right now. Don't lose your focus too soon, because you worked so hard all year. For those of you who are graduating this year, congrats! But if you mess up right now, the school can and will retake their acceptance. It's important to pay attention, but remember to relax and don't stress out too much. Finals are Tough, but so are you! Think about how accomplished you'll feel after you did your homework and ace all your finals. It's a good feeling, I swear. That's when you can sit back have a cup of tea and convince your younger brother to massage your feet. Life won't always be this hard, so keep your chin up babe, you can do it!

My Avocado Don't

Okay so I went and had a little fun with the tittle. As you may suspect, yes, this post is all about avocados. And no, there is no secret sexual innuendo I mean when I say avocado. I just mean the straight up vegetable, fruit? Thing? Well this miracle plat is amazing despite the awkward green color. You can make guacamole, put in salads, put in your hair or straight up eat it with a spoon, What can I say? I'm obsessed! I started running yesterday, as I promised. I've started eating healthier too, hence the AVOCADO post. What's your best way to utilize it? Leave your comments below!

Summer Blues

What's going on? Two posts in one day? Yeah, I just have a lot to say :) So I know it's not officially summer yet, but what the heck, why not say it is? Anyway, this post is called summer blues because, well, is it just me, or are you bummed out too? I feel almost lethargic. I want excitement! I want a summer fling! Or Channing Tatum, or as I like to call him my ChanChan to show up at my door and whisk me off my feet! (Hypothetically of course, don't want him breaking his back ;D) There's so much to do! So much to accomplish that I almost have this hole of anxiety building from the bottom of my stomach. I want this summer to be a memorable one. It's bitter sweet though, my best friend is in the Army and I miss her so darn much that sometimes it physically hurts. She's a sister to me. And almost all my other friends are out of state now. Is fate telling me that I should leave too? To travel perhaps? There's so much life ahead of us all.... Leave a comment below and tell me what you're doing this summer!

The Summer Bod

So seemingly enough, everyone wants this fictional summer body. Okay, so it's not THAT fictional. I'll admit it, I wouldn't mind looking hot and sexy for once in the summer. I believe you can do whatever you put your mind to, and if you really want to get that sexy bod you're aiming for, then go for it. I encourage you. I guess I will too if you're doing it. We'll do this together, okay? See, you're not alone!  I apologize for not being on here as much I should be, but stuff has been pretty stressful. I think reaching for success and exercise will release all the right endorphin for me. Even if we don't reach that level of "perfection" we're still beautiful so don't forget that!

No Mistletoe For Me

Are you single? Are you so single the the idea of even having a sweetheart right now is so out of the picture that it'll be more likely for you to get Ebola? Yeah. Same here. But is it really that bad? No not at all. Sure we don't have any snuggle buddies at the moment but we don't need a guy for that! Right now is the perfect opportunity to pick up a furry four legged friend from your nearest pet shelter. Now that you'll have a pet, your mind will less likely wander over to the thought of being a single pringle. My next reason should not be taken lightly. You don't have to shave. How awesome, right? It's not summer so no one's going to be seeing your legs and without a boyfriend, no one is going to be feeling them either! Kiss whoever you want to kiss under the mistletoe this year, you're not in a relationship so you don't have to be tied down! Live it up!

To the Ball Cinderella!

Okay, so it's not a ball but a holiday party for my work. Anyways, for these events you must look flirty but professional. You want your coworkers knowing that you can dress up very nice and look well, rather dashing. It's hard knowing what to wear and what's appropriate and what's not. So I'm here to help. Think about this, what's your work environment like? Is a suit job, or is it a jean job? Once you know that it gets easier. Where is this party going to be at? Is the venue somewhere other that your building that you work in? If it is, wear a nice simple dress that isn't too casual, more like a semi formal dress. But don't forget, the shoes do make the outfit. If you work at a brewery like I do then it's slightly more difficult to figure out what to wear, and here's why. You don't know if anyone is going to dress up, but you do know it's at the place you work. So here's what I'll be sporting at my holiday party, I'll be wearing a red peasant blouse tucked into a pencil skirt with gray tights and black ankle boots. If you usually straighten your hair curl it or if you curl your hair, straighten it! This is your time to shine. Be weary and don't drink too much egg nogg!

Disappointment around every corner...

I am so bummed. I don't even know how to begin to say how bummed out I am. I wasn't rejected or anything like that so don't you guys fret! I do; however, have horrible timing. The most gorgeous man I have ever seen had gone to a different time for church. I was so looking forward to introducing myself, I put on something cute, did my hair, and swiped my red lipstick on. I was ready for business, only to discover, he wan't even there. Here's what I would've said, hi, my name is Arianna, but You can call me Ari. I see you here all the time, I thought now was a good time to introduce myself. (He would say something here) I would reply with, OH! I have to go to work, but here's my number, let's go out for coffee sometime, my treat! This is the part where he would agree to go and I would leave with a very satisfied smile on my face. Ir was so simple and so well thought our in my head. No fair. I didn't even get the chance to woo him with my adoring charm. I guess there's always next Sunday to try again. Ta ta for now!
